Cavanaugh Pond Natural Area is a 44-acre area located on the Cedar River. This area is considered to be gorgeous wetland ecosystem in the Cedar River Valley. Cavanaugh Pond Natural Area consists of four parcels, three of which were acquired in 1976 and the fourth one was bought in 1990.
