Snoqualmie Falls is one of the most visited and most popular attractions in Washington State. More than 1.5 million people every year come to enjoy the scenic views. Snoqualmie Falls is a 268 ft. waterfall on Snoqualmie River. The fall is surrounded by a two-acre park with a wonderful observation deck.
Probably the most famous winter resort adjacent to King County (located in Kittitas County, just near its border with King County) is The Summit, situated at Snoqualmie Area.
The Skagit River trail is an attractive family friendly trail for all skill levels along the Skagit River that will take you through the neighboring lush forest of cedar, hemlock, lots of moss and fern. You will be enchanted by the ancient and tall trees on both sides of the riverbanks. Enjoy views of the Skagit River and immerse in the atmosphere of serenity.
Deception Pass Headlands Trail is a picturesque trail that runs along Deception Pass State Park. It offers wonderful views from the rugged cliffs, stunning views of sand dunes, green forest and blue waters of the lakes. The best way to explore the park is to go hiking, the state park provides about 40 miles of well-maintained hiking trails.
Shark Reef is located on the south west side of Lopez Island. This beautiful and easy hike takes its’ visitors through the peaceful forest to the rocky cliffs, opening stunning views of San Juan Channel.
Spencer Spit State Park is a wonderful 138-acre marine park with gorgeous camping possibilities that is situated on Lopez Island in the Strait of Juan de Fuca. This place is famous among the tourists and is a popular place for crabbing, car-top boating, clamming and, of course, camping.
