The Coal Creek Falls Trail is an amazing trail which can be found at Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park. The park itself is located in King County, and is actually considered to be the biggest wildland park, widespread within the urban area, in the whole Washington State.
Poo Poo Point Trail is a very beautiful and family-friendly trail that provides gorgeous views from the top of the mountain. Hikers say that the most magnificent views are open on a clear day. It should be said that this destination is very popular for hang gliding and parasailing. This trail runs through green and dense forest and takes its visitors to the launching point for the parasailing.
The Redtown Meadow Trail is one of the most visited trails in the park; it is also one of the first trails from the entrance. The trail is wide and well-maintained, good for hikers with kids, but be careful because there are lots of rocks along the trail.
The De Leo Wall Trail is considered to be one of the most beautiful, scenic and family-friendly trails in the western part of Cougar Mountain. This scenic trail on a clear day offers wonderful views of the city of Renton and Mount Rainier. The quickest way to get to the viewpoint is to take Wildside Trail and then choose either the De Leo Wall Trail or Marshall’s Hill Trail. Both routes will surely take to the De Leo viewpoint.
