Lakemont Community Park offers great number of opportunities for recreation. It is a kid-friendly park with lots of possibilities of play. Children will surely enjoy the equipment of the playground which is suitable for the kids of different ages.
There are two tennis courts, a basketball court, baseball fields that are perfect for sports lovers. The walking paths are considered to be perfect for jogging and walking. They are paved, so the children will love walking along these trails.
Lakemont trail is a three-mile trail that runs on the territory of the Lakemont neighborhood and connects Lewis Creek and Lakemont Parks.
On the territory of the LAkemont Park the visitors may see a large stormwater treatment system, it helps to protect Lewis Creek and Lake Sammamish from pollution and the territory from flooding.
From I-90
Take exit #13 (W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy, Newport Way, Lakemont Blvd), turn south onto Lakemont Blvd. Go through the stoplight at Newport Way. Go through the stoplight at 171st Avenue SE (Matthew’s Thriftway). Turn left onto Village Park Drive SE, and left again. The park is located behind the office building.
