Tibbetts Valley Park is a wonderful and multifunctional 30-acre park with athletic fields, tennis courts, basketball court and a children's playground.
One may find here five athletic fields, a basketball court, four tennis courts and a play area for children.
This park opens great opportunities for a family picnic. Very comfortable picnic shelter with nice picnic tables can be found here.
During the sports season (softball or baseball) there are many games that take place here that you can enjoy.
The park opens nice opportunities for the kids, because they can ride bikes on the paved paths or play on the playground.
It should be said that this park is great for a large gathering, and you won’t feel too crowded here.
Tibbetts Valley Park is surrounded by Squak and Cougar Mountains were coal miners worked for a century.
Parking here is ample and restrooms are available.
From Interstate 90
Take Exit 15 and head south on Highway 900, turn left on Newport Way. Tibbetts Valley Park will be on the south side of the street.
Several Metro and Sound Transit bus provide routes to the both of Park and Ride lots (Issaquah and Tibbetts Valley Park). For more information visit http://transit.metrokc.gov
